This monitoring plan identifies hypotheses and data collection needs related to past and planned
restoration actions of Crescent Harbor Creek’s reach located between the W. Crescent Harbor
Road and Crescent Harbor Saltmarsh. Monitoring topics covered in this plan include fish use and
fish habitat metrics. The length of time needed to answer several hypotheses identified in this plan
will depend on funding beyond what has been identified in Cooperative Agreement Number
N44255-21-2-0007. In particular, it will take well over a decade to answer monitoring questions
related to the riparian buffer’s ability to improve fish habitat.
