This technical memo gives an initial summary of the 2021 field monitoring in Port Susan
Bay and the initial results of water conditions observed and fish captured. This memo
encompasses all monitoring that occurred in the greater Port Susan Bay area, including
independent contract work with the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife
that monitored post restoration conditions in Leque Island. Field monitoring design
considerations and methodology is detailed in a Draft Port Susan Bay Monitoring and
Adaptive Management Plan (PSB Plan) and the Leque Island Monitoring and Adaptive
Management Plan (Henrichs et al. 2020). All data collected are available upon request
and will be available for download from the Github website in spring 2022.
