The South Fork Skagit River Estuarine Habitat Restoration Assessment is an ongoing habitat
evaluation project designed to track and assess progress towards meeting restoration goals. Results
from this assessment will be applied towards adaptive management of project sites and towards
answering important questions regarding the application of restoration techniques in large river
delta settings. Our intent is to utilize these lessons to deepen our understanding of natural process
restoration in the South Fork Skagit River delta and similar estuarine environments.
